I figured it was something like that.

if you hop up the blaster motor you sould be ok

try to get another frame for that motor. A 400ex frame will be a waste of a great frame with that engine in it. Not to be mean but they are too good to be putting that small of a motor in it.

thats the point... the 400ex is one of the best handleing quad on the market right now... so why would you wana a short wheelbade not as good handleing blaster frame.... i have the 400ex frame but nto the blaster engine....

I see what you are saying, and I do agree with you to a certian extent, but that would be like killing the EX though.

omg yur talking about wasting a frame for a small motor in it ... you have invested money in buying modifications for a WARRIOR, a out of date quad. the blaster engine is way better and has more power potential than the warrior engine ...

Actually, I hear the blaster conversion is very popular, usually with the 250r frame.

Some race circuits have explicit age restrictions on some classes. You cannot race the 250cc 2-stroke/450cc 4-stroke class until you are at least 16yrs old. So if you're under 16, you can ONLY race the blaster/air-cooled class.

We know the 400EX has way better suspension and handling than the blaster, but it's not legal to race the blaster class with a 400EX. So the solution is to put the blaster engine into a 400EX or 250R chassis. You get all the great suspension and handling, and it's still legal to race in the blaster class.

Yeah I'm putting money into a WARRIOR! when I get done with it, I'm sure it will smoke your little BLASTER too! By the way, the last time I checked, a YZ426F motor is not small!!

I have heard of the 250r/blaster conversion. I would say to do that instead of the 400ex/blaster conversion.

what does that engine have to do w/ anything ... and you most likely will beat me cuz im not puttin a lot of money into mine ... but it does have way more potential than yur WARRIOR

Woah, people are getting way off topic. It is a great idea for you. Let the kid build what he has the money for. You can race an age class there. If i was you i would build the motor as strong as you can.
