come race the sport class!

just wanted to be sure and tell everyone about the sport class at the gncc's. were having a low turnout this year and i'd like to see more people come race. so if you know anyone with a warrior, blaster, raptor 350,mojave, lakota,quadsport 250, z-250,300ex, 250x, 250ex, or trail blazer 250, tell them to come out! there are really only 3 rules to qualify for the class.
1. has to be a quad on the list (production rules)
2. 350cc or less
3. cant weld on the frame to add suspension travel.

other than that anything goes. please come out and show some support, i'd hate to see them axe the sport class because of a low turnout

I'm with Brad, we definately need more sport class racers.

The SPORT class is a great class to race in. We start at the tail end of all the afternoon classes, so when ever you pass someone you can bet they are running a much faster quad.

You also get to witness the pros in action from the drivers seat. Its awesome how fast those guys are but you can't appreciate it until they blow by you. You get to see them for seconds until they disappear.

I will be racing the rest of the GNCC's this season and I hope we get a bunch of other Sport class machines out there.

Shook down the CPR 330 today and it is running great. The new suspension is awesome. A couple of more tweaks and it'll be perfect.

Found another Sport Classer today also. He'll be at the next 10 GNCC's.

I went to watch a local H.S. today, and U boys would be in trouble!!!!!

I saw a top D-17 rider running a blaster, and He finished i beleive 4th in a-class. He was movin on!!!


Also in the Ga. GNCC there was a blaster running the 2-stroke afternoon class, He also did really well. check out his lap times!!!

the guy from the afternoon race was joseph magarva, he got 3rd in our class last year. check out his laps from last season, then remeber, he was on a bone stock chassis then

as far as the rest of the races go I don't think so. I am officially retired as a factory racer. actually if that class raced in the morning I would persue racing it the rest of the year, but being in the afternoon makes it too hard to get my other jobs done.

i wasnt suprised one bit that it held up, that was actually my biggest concern going into the race, was i knew that i messed up, i would lose, becasue i knew there wasnt a chance of it breaking. its a well built quad IMO

Bradley the simple fact that you weight 130 lbs less than me should have been enough of an advantage? then I gave you a 2 minute head start on the first lap?????? and I was nice enough to pass you with 3 miles to go. trying to give you plenty of time to pass me back. but I guess YOUR MACHINE just couldn't keep up. Do you know how bad you will look if I beat you again??? how about WISP??????? or maybe Penton?????

johnny, i think its been covered in the past, as long as you are not in the top 10 overall, you can race the stock class. and i wouldnt see why that wouldnt hold true for the sport class. we'd love to have ya try out a race!

So Johnny do you want to see about getting us equal rides for the sport class for Ironman???????
