Ok I like to ride in the sand dunes. I get absolutly no grip with my stock worn out tires. I would love a set of paddle tires for the dunes, but I would also need a set of trail tires for the trails. I wouldnt want to spend too much on a paddle tire and wheel combo. So my question is should I get a cheap set of paddle tires, or or would I do better to use regular tires (like holeshots or razrs or whatever). Also, who makes a cheap decent paddle tire?? Any replies welcome.... thx

my dad uses sand sharks and likes them, a little heavy but they do good enough for him. you could get kenda klaws and just put them on backwards and air them down and the will do pretty good in the sand.

Got nads?

Sand Stars get great traction....straight or turning. Fairly cheap as well.

i would get any type of paddle tire. the least expensive paddle tire will give you huge benifits in the dunes. I would go to rocky mountain atv, they sell geckos with wheels (not the best paddles) for real cheap, i think like just over $100.

kenda klaws do great mounted backwards in the sand.

I have sandstars, front and rear, and they are great in the sand. Lots of traction, looks cool, and perform great. I love them so much i would buy them again.

there are hundreds of different sand tires out there. for serious drag racing.....nothing beats a 21x12x8 Skat Trak Extreme Grip Hauler. i run the 22x12x8 Ultra Buff Extreme Grips, but they are $400 a set. a normal set runs about $225

I think haulers are a little expensive for what this guy is looking for.
