ive never rode one, but i have heard a lot of people say that they are uncomfortable if you are good sized fella. Smaller people I believe are more comfortable. Even if you arent very big, the seat is pretty hard, IMO

I have a 2005 yfz450 and i am about 148 pounds. I was recently in a 3 hour harescramble and by the 2nd hour my butt was hurtin, however there are a lot of companies out there that make seats with 1 to 3 inches of extra foam.

i have only had 1 problem on mine and i have had it since Oct. 2004, the new carberatours with, the throttle postitioning sensor that is located in throttle housing, the plunger on the sensor got stuck so i moved it back 3mm and it works fine.

I would definatly recommend buyin a yfz450 to any one!

I have an '04 YFZ and have had 0% problems. They love to hill climb and the front end stays planted well.As far as the seat I weigh 200 pounds and race XC at first it was stiff but now I don't even notice.I would definatley reccommend buying one.

I'm 6'3" and 195 lbs, and it doesnt feel small to me at all, all i did for ergo's is put on a new set of tag YFZ bend bars...and this thing feels great.

Im 6'4" and I'm comfortable with a +1"+1" stem and CR high bend bars. The seat is pretty stiff, but as said earlier you can get thicker seat padding if you want. The new padding and cover is usually under $200.00.

I came off a 400ex, and love the yfz. Handles great, reliable, jumps good(i just started that lately) climbs hills really good(thats why i bought it)

The seat gets softer after some hours of use.
