paddle tires

Ok I like to ride in the sand dunes. I get absolutly no grip with my stock worn out tires. I would love a set of paddle tires for the dunes, but I would also need a set of trail tires for the trails. I wouldnt want to spend too much on a paddle tire and wheel combo. So my question is should I get a cheap set of paddle tires, or or would I do better to use regular tires (like holeshots or razrs or whatever). Also, who makes a cheap decent paddle tire?? Any replies welcome.... thx

As far as a cheap paddle tire, you might want to look for a used set on E-bay. Knobbies, no matter how good they are, won't perform like a paddle tire on the sand. We've tried just about every knobby made and always go back to our ITP Sand Stars to play on the dunes.
