I just blew out a ball joint and I heard that you can replace them from the auto parts store. has anyone tried this and if so what model of car are they from. I have after market houser arms with removable ball joints I tried one from a VW bug but the lower arm threaded section is not long enough to get the nylon lock nut on plus the dust cover is not secured to the joint.
If anyone has a model or part #
thanks Guys

Why don't you call houser and see what they recommend...just seems like the easiest solution...just my $.02

I was checking it out because I heard that the ones in the auto stores were a lot cheaper and easier for me to get. Houser wants $20 in real money and in Canadian dollars plus tax plus duty etc. it adds up tp a lot like $45 per joint and my local auto store will sell them in the range of $18 each so help if you can
thanks guys
