buying valves

I took a buddies bike apart the other day and best I can tell it jumped time and bent, or broke, the valves. I can't say forshore because I haven't took the head off, but the intake valves aren't seating properly and I can tell the cam isn't top dead center. My question is I know the valves are expensive, but where's the best place to buy them stock and aftermarket.

i just brought two intake valves last week from Honda of troy,they were only $22 each.
