I have custom axis Lt front shocks, and one one of them, I think the top mount on the shock is messed up. when i pick the front of the bike up, there is a little bit of freeplay after the shock is fully extended. Not alot, but enough to make me look at it.

Im familier with the exact terms, but there are 2 metal pieces that are in the eye of the shock( what the bolt slips through). These pieces are what move up and down.

Sorry if this is confusing, its kind of hard to describe.

Any help is appriciated.

its just one shock. What houses the two metal bolt bushings?

ARE YOU SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT SIZE BOLT TO GO THROUGH THE BUSHING? AND ARE YOU SURE YOU HAVE THER CORRECT SIZE BUSHINGS? ARE YOU SURE THE BUSHINGS ARE MOVING AND NOT THE MONO-BALL INSIDE THE BODY CAP? HOPEFULLY THIS HELPS. IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER QUESTIONS FEEL FREE TO ASK

I have the right size bushings and bolt the bolt fits perfectly into the bushings, no movement.

Whats this mono-ball your talking about? I think that might be whats moving around too much. Is this replaceable? how much?

YES THE MONO-BALL IS REPLACABLE. I AM NOT EXACTLY SURE OF THE PRICE. I WOULD HAVE TO SEE THE SHOCK TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT SIZE MONO-BALL IT IS.

THE SIZE OF THE SHOCK DOES NOT MATTER. SEE THEIR IS A COUPLE DIFFRENT SIZE MONO-BALLS. I AM NOT SURE WHAT SIZE YOURS IS. THAT'S WHY I WOULD HAVE TO SEE THE SHOCK
