I have a 05 450r i bought it in january and bought all the parts to set it up for mx i have raced mx for the last 3 years on a blaster and this is my first attempt at something with horsepower. The bike is perfect i can ride it great it has all the normal suspension mods axle a arms shocks. well in about 2 months the back of the right case broke off where the swing arm pivot bolt goes through i was just interested to see if anyone else has heard of or had this problem i've only heard of one other instance and that was my friends 450r that broke in the identical place. Any help would be highly appreciated thanks.

usually this breaks when people give the bike gas when there trying to start it with the HOT START in BBAADDD.!!!!!!!!!! no gas on the restarts!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well that makes since so you think that it might be building crankcase pressure in it and it basically blew it out ??

that makes since i mean dont give it gas when i start it anyway honda said no in the first place so i dont do it. But i guess maybe i've done it and not realized like in a practice moto or something who knows but definitly not doin it again.

U MIGHT HAVE BENT THE PIVOT BOLT. I THINK MINE IS BENT HAVENT ORDERD A NEW 1 YET, SO ITS STILL IN THERE.

That is possible too i have heard they are soft but what do you think would have been the cause of it just large jumps or whoops??
