Well another cold and muddy day the the Dutchmen! I finished 8th in the Open C class and took the hole shot! Had to ride the last 3 laps with out goggles and fell back to 8th.

good pics, I think I was last off the starting line, but I ended up finishing 6th in Open B. I imagine the conditions will be similar for the next race.

I ran 2 laps and had to quit because of the mud in my eyes, i could not even see. after the race me and my friend had to go to the ER to get our eyes flushed out. and we both have scratches in them.

Jay sorry I didn't realize where you were going in the beginning of the race. Nice pics. By the way that Dale is the one Randy, Chad, and I are piloting at the GA 6hr event! Can you say 469cc Dale!

Anyone know which riders went off in the ambulance? There was 3 or 4 guys with eyes that were bleeding from getting mud in them and then rubbing them. :eek2:

that was a pretty nasty dutchmen race but then again it's almost always a mudhole:macho

they reallly need to do something with that track..for having three D6 races there...it shouldnt be a mudhole everytime you race there. i think i've been there three times and its been muddy every time. If it rains hard the day before the April 2nd race i dont even know if im going to go

it's called a harescramble, not a cake walk.

That was from the crash, I dont think anyone went off in the ambulance from mud, imo I dont think the mud is a problem as long as u keep em closed hitting the bigger puddles and muddy sections.

from what i hear, they have always been that way and not going to change. you can't really go dry the track out anyway?

I think I'd rather race at the Dutchmen when it's muddy rather then when it's dusty anyway. One of the only dry races there last year was like racing in a sandstorm.
