Well I ordered a complete set of UFO plastic yesterday for the 300. It was entirely too expensive but stock plastic was almost $800! It was really so expensive because I had to spend over $100 on the three hood, tank, etc. pieces because the UFO doesn't include all of those parts. We will see if the UFO stuff is that good, it better be for what I paid for it. I will post some after pictures once I get it on.

That price for factory plastic is way too high. 300ex plastic, direct from Honda, $515 for all of it, front and rear, tank, hood, etc. Sounds like you're shopping at the wrong places...

The other side of the coin is I can't wait to hear how your UFO plastic fits, looks, lasts, etc. Post some pics.

I'm talking about everything - front, back hood, tank, clip. It is significantly expensive.

For a 300ex? Of course this is a retorical question because you are obviously referring to a 400. The 300 plastic is much more expensive.

I cancelled the UFO. It was going to be at least $650 with shipping and all of the brackets, stays that I need. I am picking up Shiny new Maier plastic from Terry and 400ex plastic and a twist throttle and clutch cable and grips for less than all of the UFO plastic together.

UFO only makes the stock style front fenders. Thus I was going to have to buy a hood cover, tank cover, etc. for the 300. It was out of control. I'm getting green shiny plastic for the 300 instead, from Maier.

I got ufo plastic on our cr125 and basicly the only differance we find besides the other plastics is that the ufo costed half as much and seems as good as other plastics. Heck just 25 bucks for each fender.
