new rebuilt smoking

I got my 400 rebuilt by honda and i broke it in and now when i hit the trottle it blows blue smoke i have like 2 hours on the rebuld?? i wondering if its just the oil burning off the rings or what also how do i gap rings if i wanted to put rings in a other honda motor thanks

I'd run the motor a few more hours and then see if it still smokes. Most guys run a couple tanks of gas through it before they call it good and broke in.

depending on the rebuild, prolly jus everything seating right. . oil burning off. . valve seal etc. . jus ride it some more and see how it does. . if still the same take it back to the shop and tell them. . later
