I just bought a used 440 kit, Well it hasent even been fired up yet. The kid I bought it off of pulled 2 studs out torquen it down. Anyhow the kit is a weisco with the piston 4667m08900 flat top. I read posts until I cant see straight about the advertised CR of the piston. I dont want to deck the cylinder cause later on I may change to a Ross or JE piston. What thickness head gasket and base will get me close? I was going to go to with a Cometic .025 steel head and hondabond for the base gasket. Will I be in the ballpark on CR? Or should I run there thinest base gasket also?
