I disconnected the thumb kill switch today. I hit it with my thumb and killed the 400 twice in the last race, once going up a nasty slick bank of a creek. Since i still have my headlights, I left the switch assy intact on the bars. I just cut the green ground wire to the kill switch. I would have not done this if I did not have the motion pro kill switch mounted right next to it.

if you don't want to disconnect the switch, you can tape it up for the races so it won't move. i hadn't thought of it, but i saw a guy do it a couple of weeks ago, because he had done the same thing in his first moto. if you have the tether kill switch, though, it shouldn't matter if you cut it or not.

Sometimes I wish my kids had a kill switch!
