i was thinking of painting or PC'n my stock a-arms. they are pretty scratched up on the bottom and look like crap so i thought it would look pretty cool. has anyone ever done this and if so do you have pics? also, how hard is it to get off the a-arms, how do most of u get the ball joints off?

you dont.. they are not removable.. altho you can cut them off, and put a threaded insert into the hole that is left behind and put some aftermarket balljoints in there

dont recomend PC of the stock arms becasue of the ball joint cup will cook when you bake the PC and then itll be fragile and can break all to pieces and lock up then itll be junk. I jsut painted my stock arms black just sand them up really good and take your time masking them off then put about 3 coats of paint then bout 3 coats of clear and it should stay on there pretty good here is a pic of one of my lower arms trust me the pic doesnt do it justice its shiney

I painted my stock 300ex a-arms with Crest Rubbized paint, holds up VERY good, and looks like identical to powdercoat. It is really intended as undercoat for a truck or car but works very well on quads.
