You seem to know your stuff, if you had to buy a new pipe what would you buy? Duncan Racing Fatboy 4, Rossier, Sparks or HMF. I had a yoshi but just sold yesterday as I was tired of getting my *** handed to me in a drag race my a buddy with a sparks. Especially when I have more motor work done! His bike seems to have more of a midrange hit. I'm leaning towards the rossier or hmf, but I'm not sure!

That pipe makes incredible power in entire rpm range (more than anyting i've seen dyno'd) and sounds awesome!!

I've sold my sparks for RE :D

hmm what is a pulsecharger? I dont think they rated very well for the 450r honda but if you must have a pulsecharger then buy a yamaha i think i heard that it works on yamaha . if you want a great pipe for a Honda 450R then I would get a R/E Just my

ya i cant wait for next weekend...will be my first trips to the dunes...just going to pismo..but im sure i will have fun..i just put in my 13:1,hrc, and re...i went and got me some 21x12x8 7 paddle haulers...im dying to go...you know it just doesnt come fast enough...
whats a good front dune tire?

i dont like the looks of the RE pipe, id rether have my sparks, plus for the mods im doing, im thinkin the sparks would be a better pipe for me anyway, looks as tho it doesnt perform well on the stock motor though, but thats ok, mine wont be stock :macho

good sand tires for the front are shark fins/mohawks or sand stars

ya it worked out pretty well at the race today, managed to get 10th place, only problem i had was the mud, but i liked the pipe a lot, i still need to put a 50 piolet in there, stop the backfiring when i chop the throttle

so witch pipe works good on the stock engine but has the options to were if you go with a hotcams stage two (for sure) and bump in compression say 12:1 would the RE be better or the sparks?

the re has just a diffrent look to it ! if its the better pipe i guess it would grow on me

the HMF on my quad made such a difference in the low to midrange hit. the throttle response is just right there all the time. i am always right there side by side with my buddy that has a YFZ with a Jardine pipe, cam advance, and k&n. I have the stock cam. And the HMF sounds so sweet, its not quiet but not too loud either. And the price...next to none.

let us know it the new pipe makes any difference. I have the Yoshi and I have beat many other 450's with different pipes, The only ones I have problems with are the guys that weigh alot less than me

HMF all the way.....not puttin down on RE or ne of the rest, bc i dont kno bout them. but HMF made a huge difference on bottom to mid on my friend's R, & it sounds great.

I rode today with the stock exhaust(minus the baffle) and to be honest it seemed to compliment the hot cams stage 2 better the the yoshi. Like I said before the yoshi seems to lack the midrange of other pipes! That is of course just my opinion.:D

man that just goes to show you, when you see a small amount of power from sparks like that on a stock bike, then get it on a bigger bike and it is top 3, it really shows how good of a engine builder he is :macho , the thing i was wondering was, is that sparks a big core or no?

o, c i have the big core, thinking it makes a bit more then the stock core, they told me it would be 1-2 more hp with my bike in the condition it will be in when finished

sparks is nothing but alot of talk...first off he puts his name on everything thats not his and marks the price up a grip..then good luck trying to get some motor work done by him...i have seen the nice list of a 140 people he has to go down...and thats not counting the 50 motors sitting in his shop...

hes not talk man, he backs up his stuff, and ya he may have jacked the cams etc, but hey, they work, so what, and ya he has a long waiting list, probably because hes 1 of the best :macho , hell he got my engine done in a week, no wait at all, so im happy

you think sparks did that on purpose...if he did he is far from smart because he just lost about 3/4 of his sells..How many people have that big of a motor compared to regular 450's..

hey you know man i apoligize...im not trying to knock your exhaust...i just live in the same town as him and have been around his shop alot...i just dont like the way he treats his costumers and all the sh*t i dont want to get into...

i just trippen over here....I think its too hot over here in cali..getting to my brain...
