Hey.....There is a guy near me who would to trade his mint 03 banshee for a 400ex. What do you guys think? I used to have a 2 stroke before so it wouldnt be that much more different. I was thinking about keeping the elkas off of my 400,buying some stock shocks, and swapping them. Then after I'd trade, I would put the elkas on the banshee.

So I'm just wondering what you guys think I should do it or not?

PS
Heres the link to a picture of it. It's MINT.

I don't think you could just put those elkas on a banshee...

Okay, I have the front shocks on my 400ex. Why wouldn't they work? Would they not line up right or something?I kno there not the same quad....but they should work.

just dont do the trade. 4 strokes are more reliable than 2

Not mine.My 400ex has blown up twice since I got it. Plus, I was alot faster on my old 250r. I'm just asking for your opinions.

If you race MX then keep the 400EX;)

Dont make the mistake in thinking that a banshee is anything like a 250R;) being a 2 stroke is the only thing they have in common.

If your riding the dunes then a banshee is alot of fun

If you want to trade, do it, I'd take any parts that can be used on the banshee off the 400 and put your stock item back on if you do trade.

There are not many aftermarket things made to be interchangeable between the two quads. I dont think any suspension components will work between the two. The only stuff you can really trade is like tires, rims, bars, and stuff like that. I say you shoud keep the 400ex.

IDK guys. I found a 2000 banshee and a 94 s10 for sale or trade for a 400ex. I like banshees. I know a banshee won't handle like a 250r, but I was still alot faster on my R, because my 250r was 2 stroke and it pulled alot.

IDK, it seems like everytime I turn around something is breaking on my 400ex. I can't take that anymore. So I don't know what to do.

get the banshee. the 400ex is dull and boring compared to the banshee. and btw the suspension wont work.

thats gonna happen on almost any bike yeah it sucks hard core but its somethin we all have to deal with if we ride hard. i bought my 400 last spring so far i put close to 800 in repairs into it no matter what bike you have theres always going to be broken parts. hondas are some of the most reliable quads out there my old 200sx was so bad i had to put in a quart of oil in it every time i filled the gas tank burn oil like crazy but still got me ware i needed to go. i would stick with the 400 JMO

So Far between the two rebuilds and other things...It's over 1000. My Warrior never costed me more then 500 bucks.

IDK, I'm leaning towards the banshee.
