ok i bought a weisco 440 kit and decided not to go with the sleve to gett it bored and plated by us Chrome
anyways i got it back to bak and i was looking at the piston rings that kame with my kit and they say not to use with a chrome plated cylinder cause it will ruen the motor
why is that any if i cant use them what do i use
i am stumped please help me

call US chrome and ask them what they plate it with, most likely its a form of nikasil which will work fine with your rings. don't you still need a sleeve of some kind to accomodate the larger piston though?
