I am thinking about ordering a carbon fiber hood(probably quadtech) sometime next week and wanted to see which style
looks best,flat or the one with scoop
so lets see those pics!

My personal opinion is the scoop. I love mine. It looks awesome. Don't have any pics though.

Save yourself $100 and get one of the ebay ones. They're the same as quadtechs but with SLIGHT cosmetic blemishes.

got it from duncan racing but jason got on off ebay and sprayed it red and saved about 100 dollars
here is mine with a maier carbon look alike, getting ready to leave for a race

check out the white and black 450r on the builder comp. It has a scooped hood.

I have just a regular maier hood with out the scoop, black
I think they look much better than the over priced carbon fiber hoods. the maier hood has a better shape and give the R a faster look. the carbon hoods with out the scoop look plain and dull.
well thats just my 2cents
i forgot to mention spending over $100 on that small hood will not make you go any faster
after shipping I spent $35

heres a maier flat, not carbon but still a hood and alot cheaper than most
