Air Box Question

The white tube that is in the air box and runds to up towards the carb....thinking its called teh snorkel....what is it for and can i take it off?

The snorkel brings the air into the airbox. It sits up nice and high (on your motor) so when you go through deep water it doesn't get in your airbox. Lets the motor breathe underwater, kinda like a......snorkel.

You could remove it, but what's the point. If anything remove the airbox lid.
