Exhaust Welds....

I was looking at my supertrapp the other day & noticed the same exhaust welds on the header part of the pipe as on the stock pipe. Has anybody whose grinded the welds noticed a power gain?

Freestylexrider grinded mine out, didnt notice anymore power or anything:(
