300ex carb swap?

ok i have heard that you can put a 400ex carb on a 300ex. well i was thinking the other day when i was looking through a motojoe catolouge how about an aftermarket 400ex carb?! would this work because i was looking at the edelbrock quicksilver carb for a 400 and was thinking about buying one for my 300. will this work

come on at least some info on a 400ex regular carb swap i was just really thinking about trying the edelbrock carb but if it doesnt work?! that would just suk so i was seeing if anyone could help.

ok guy i have put a stock 400ex carb on my wheeler. i loved it but wanted more!

if you have exstensive mods like full out race motor or heavy modded one get a after market carb. i have seen edlelbrock carbs for a 300ex somewhere i dont know if it was a typo or what . um also the edlebrock is real nice cause its has external jetting . you can adjust the jetting with a srew driver like a car. it real nice.

a really nice carb is a FCR pumper carb they really put the gas to her,

well if you have a lightly modded engine meaning pipe,air filter

go and put a stock 400ex carb on.

IF YOU BUY A AFTERMARKET CARB FOR A 400EX THE THING IS GONNA NED BIGGER AIR BOOTS AND STUFF CAUSE THE BELLS ON THE CARB WIL BE BIGGER.

ALSO THE STOCK CARB CAN BE PUT ON WITHOUT ANY DIFFERENT BOOTS
