4stroke is alot easier to maintain and work with so I get me a 450r:eek:

I was a die hard 2 stroker until yesterday I have a highly modded 310r and I just got a 450r yesterday. My lap times on the 450 (bone stock) are faster than my times on my 310

i disagree. 2 strokes are eaiser to work on and maintain. Sure a 4 stroke doesnt go through top ends like a 2 stroke but id give my left nut for a 4 stroke to be as easy to work on as a 2 stroke. Dont get me wrong ive always owned a 4 stroke but thats cuz it just feels better to me. remember: REAL ENGINES HAVE VALVES!

2-Strokes have valves too...;)

I have to admit the 4-strokes are a lot easier to ride but for just pure fun adrenaline pumping riding, I love the hit of my Banshee! I'll never get sick of that arm-tearing powerband:devil: .

No, I wasn't referring to the powervalves, considering those aren't on all 2-strokes. But neither are reed valves, which I was referring to also.

But powervalves on a 2-stroke allows it to have the low end power of a 4-stroke, so I think it would count;) .

When is the last time you saw a 100+ horsepower 400EX, or even YFZ? MX and TT racing is all well and fine, but the true test of horspower is drag racing and hill shooting, and the Banshee and Quadzilla are kings. Last I checked, niether of those engines have valves. ;)

4 strokes are just easier to ride in general. the power is more predictable and is pretty much even through all the RPMs. Theres no sudden kick of powerband that i hate about 2 strokes and if your going for something and the powerband doesnt kick in then your screwed i saw someone get pretty f'ed up because there poweband didnt kick in

If your powerband doesn't kick in it is because you need to tighten it up.They tend to get loose over time;)
