How do you time a 400ex? i had the cam out and now my marks that i made don't line up so i need a detailed explination on how to time a 400

put the piston at top dead center and install the cam with the lobes pointed down and then install the timing chain gear with the 3 marks facing you and one mark will me at the top and the other two will be horizontal with the top of the head surface. hope this helps
