Keeping lights but not bulky box?

I was thinking about getting a kill switch as a new starter button.. Has anyone kept the lights somehow but figured out a way to get rid of the bulky black light switch box?

I ran a yz kill switch and just hard wired the lights to the battery on a toggle switch next to the nuetral light.

A buddy of mine used a cannondale start switch and key switch. The lights are switched by turning the key to the third position. He just wired them in for brights only. I think Arctic Cat utilities use the same three position key switch setup
