NJ racing

After I turn 16 I am thinking of trying a race..(by then i am hoping to have a HMF and more goodies). I live in NJ and have a 400ex (see sig). I pretty much dont know anything about racing... the classes, where to go, etc. so any info would be great! The only place i do know of is Englishtown and that is pretty close to me. Thanks in advance for the info

they have production classes to run. with a 400ex as long as you have a stock frame with the motor thats so post to go in it, you can run production..

sooo if you havea 400 ex frame thats pced it is runnable and if it has a big bore and all that good stuff can it still run the production class?

I live 1 mile down the street from atco and about 30-45 minutes from e-town those are to really good places to go. But most of the real awsome places are illegal :(

Where you ride at?? I know for the locals behind atco there some awsome trails right behind the drag strip you get chased out but they are cool and Port Elizabeth for people in that area of Nj is awsome also but very illegal but all you go to do is run.

yes if u have a big bore thats under 450cc in the frame its so post to be in ( 400ex in 400ex frame, yfz in yfz frame) and its powdercoated you can race production. if ur motor goes over 450cc u have to run open

i live in jackson nj in ocean county right next to toms river kinda and jrdrider im under 450 im a 416 but even if i have an extremely stroked crank would i still be under 450 im not sure what the quad has in it cuz i bought it with the kit in it i just rebuilt it but didnt really bother to look at the crank i remembered AFTER i put it together i was pi$$ed i may try and race or ride at e-town sometimes is it cheaper than chatsworth like 75 a day ?!?:confused:

ATVRacing in the NJ area has really gone down the pipes. D34 only has one good race track left that lets ATV's run. There used to be 2 good ones but the other (diamonback) got closed down for atv's. There are 2 ATV tracks in total in D34 but the second one, southwick, really isnt all too good.

I think similar things have been happening to D4(south jersey) but i cant speak first hand on that cause im not too familiar with it...

Do the other tracks in NJ have a webstie?(Besides e-town)

Also my town (West Milford) Is still fighting for a mx track. If you didnt hear about the hole X-Hab thing...The people who like run my town or whatever wanted to build mx tracks and bmx tracks where the old jungle habitat was but it got turned down

Hopefully my town stops being gay and builds it

to ride at atco it is on wednesday and friday. the price is 27 bucks from 4pm-11 pm

e-town is on sundays..9 30- dark 30 bucks a day

I live up in vernon nj by mountain creek ski resort if any of you know where it is and I know that there really isn't anywhere close to ride around here except for the local + illegal trails, pits, and slopes. If any of you guys know of any tracks within a hour of me, I don't care if it's xc, mx, tt or just drags let me know

i live in oceon county
chatsworth is pretty expensive if ur gonna pay by the day
u should just buy a year pass it'll be sooo much cheaper at the end.
i've never seen races at chatsworth
do they even have any over there

i really like the dirtbike track at chatsworth, but the atv track is pretty boring:ermm: im a member, it was 375 for my dad and 75 for me( im 14) but i thought it was only like 35 a day to just go ride:confused:
