Yup, a Rancher or a Four Trax, plz help me out cuz i got a frame and an engine, alls i need is the plastics
That Cr500 motor is gonna work awesome in that Rancher frame.
I hope so, but i have to get it working...which means i need to find a cam shaft for it :(. I need a set of plastic when im done all of that but its going to be hard so i need some suggestions. Anyone?

Just wondering what you will use a rancher with a 500cc engine for. Only reason i ask is...Rancher's don't have much of a suspension do they:confused:
Just wondering
Good luck though
Yeah, You do realize that it doesn't have a cam , just a head.

he only has the frame
your right Sparkles, i only have a frame...im putting all my own suspension on it, and i never knew they don't have a cam, maybe it a XL500 or something...im not exactly sure what it is right yet. When i got the motor from my dads friend, he just said it was a CR500 and it needed a new cam :huh so ill have to figure that ouy later when the motor is important in this project.

why don't u sell the frame u got and buy a stock 400ex frame... bc that frame will suck with that type of motor in it... no handlin or sus at all!!!
what do you mean, the frame has no suspension or motor. I'm going to make it all from scratch, even the A-arms and the swing arm. I just want some plastics, but its ok...i don't need any, ill just have to go without them. Oh yea, i was just wondering, what does the frame have to do with the handling of the bike?, i never thought it did, i just though it was the tires and all the other parts that aren't on the bike yet. I think it should work fine :D
But thanx for the advice.
Does the cyclinder have fins on it , if it does its an xl500.
Oh, yea it does...i guess its a XL500, and a 4 stoke at that...right?
And it has a timming chain , yeah then i guess that might work a little better in that rancher frame than a cr500 motor.
I hope so...thanx Drew, but now i still need a cam :(

lmao, this bikes gonna be so funny when ur done with it:D
Cams aren't that expensive.
You should look into a carb for it too, air box , tires , air filter , exhaust.
My uncle will make me an aluminum air box, carb is easy to find, air filter isn't all that expencive...and ill just have to steal Sparkles 400ex exhaust :P i have tires under my deck for now :)
You must take lots of pictures and post them. You should put a VW Bug pipe on it and one of those 14T front sprockets that will give you 90mph off of Ebay. I saw a kid on here today who said he has a 220 Bayou with a VW Bug pipe on it and he says it pulls as hard as his 400ex. Just think what you could do with that and the 90mph 14t!
Hah!, you sound like a crazy man...but it sounds good too, what do the dprockets sell for?, and the bug pipes?
I don't get it, why do you make fun of me :(
haha
So Chris , what r u gonna do for chain and sprockets?
well, lets see...im gonna put the sproket on the axle and put the chain from the engine sproket to the axle sproket, even though i don't have a chain
