Western Idaho State Series Coverage

March 6th marked the 1st Western Idaho State series. We are starting to see and abundance of Qaud racing in the state of Idaho this year. This is only one of several series that is being offered to quads and for that I thank each and everyone for there supporting the quads and giving us a place to race . :) Riders are now starting to take notice and we are seeing new riders show up frequently now.


This round was held in Glenns Ferry Idaho . Track Owners Tag and Robin Hawks. They are the ones who brought WORCS to Idaho last year for the Payette Idaho Round for the first ever "quads only".They also have a Track that Ill be covering in Mountain Home Idaho .

We had great weather for most of the day Temps in the 60's .We had riders for Mens, womens and mini classes .The Pro turn out was small as well as the minis . We set a record for approx. 14 ladies for an MX race!


Alot of the ladies are new to racing this year and I am very excited to see all the girls getting hooked .:D

The day did have some carnage and we did have a couple of riders down who did have to seek medical attn. unfortunatly, but nothing too serious.


The track is a fun track! its got lots of good jumps, whoops, dbls and triples.

Two riders down. atvrider BlueZ440 and atvrider E-ATV-Racing wrecked. One was unconsiuos for about 3 minutes,Bluez440 ended up with a shoulder injury but both are doing well:)

after practice was over we decided to heat up the grill and have a cookout. This was one of the best cooouts I tihnk we have had in a long time. Lots of laughs and stories with alot of good people sharing a common interest.:)

Thats all the pics I could get from the race. Il be doing more race Coverage on may of our series here in Idaho threwout the spring/summer when I am not racing myself. I was down with a back injury and had to sit this one out so I had time to take some pics :)

WE are TT racing this Sun. hopefully I'll be able to borrow my bros camera, or I'll just use the video camera since I'm getting it figured out!!

DJ is racing a 440stroker :eek2: :devil: :blah: a friend is letting him use it, he's "playing" w/ the big boys this weekend!!!
Trevor is also racing his LEM, he wants to race the 90 but that ain't happening yet!!
I MAY be racing not sure yet, DJ is using my front Hoosiers so we'll see what I have to run on the front LOL, got my radials if worst ocmes to worst :)

We didnt feel good about lil man being out there for this race . I think he would have got hurt,hes a little too eager sometimes to win and his suspention sucks :( . He was OK with its though,besides hes going to do a WORCS race next month so its all good ;)

I'll be up and running next weekend but not at 100% maybe 50..LOL

Hey are you guys racing Renton TT track? If you are please takes some pictures and video..I would like to see it in action. We are planning on doing some out there soon..

So do you all have any Tracks over there?? I keep hearing from others that theres not much racing or tracks up by you. What about that track thats just off the freeway??? Troy and I wondered if it allowed quads or not. We thought about riding it one time while up there duning a few times. :D

Yeah Daryl is a nice guy and a good rider. I REALLY Want to hit that Rupert Track!:blah: I hear nothing but good about it and I guess quads always go first at there track :)

Ya Tina there are a couple one in poky, Idaho falls, and the one in Rexburg!! The one just off the freeway is open to quad anytime 10.00 to ride!!
Rupert is defintley a must it is a awesome track!!

YES we are racing the TT Sun. whoopwhoop :D I'm excited it'll be the 2nd TT track we've ran except this is more like a REAL one unlike Hannegan where it's a aSUPERTT & when they say super they meant it LOL

Yeah I'm borrowing my bro's camera so i can get some decent pics hopefully & I will be taping also!!
