GT Thunder CDI & Stg 2 cam

I was wonderin if I need to get new valve springs if I get my GT Thunder CDI for my 426. Does anyone here have a similar setup and still have their stock springs with a stg 2 hot cam and a aftermarket CDI/Rev box? Cause I was woried that I might get valve float or even drop a valve, due to the fact that my stock springs are not rated to rev 1thousand rpm higher.

It is rated as a drop in cam so this is a good question. I believe the member ugly mutha has stage 2 adn CDI and runs stock springs.

Maybe we can get his ugly *** in here and tell you whats up.....:scary:

i currently run that gt box with a TC mx grind cam but i had the stage 2 previously. i run stock springs.
