I have douglas .190 rims. I still manage to damage lips. Is there a renforcement ring that can be welded in? If not, next time I smash one what rims should I buy? I thought these were the strongest.

or bajas. You could take your rims to a welding shop and have them fit some rings and weld them on. I have seen others do this. I have the ITP T-9 Bajas and so far they have held up great.

You can buy just the rings and have them welded on. I forget the company that makes them...should be able to get them ordered from any atv shop. I paid about $18 each for the rings and paid about $20 to have them welded on the stock Honda rims. They ain't pretty, but are strong as hell.

No prob! The rings are made by OMF. You can find a local dealer on their website (http://www.omfperformance.com/atvdealers.htm).
Actually, after I bought 1 set, I had numerous other rings made at a machine shop for very cheap. They used the OMF for a pattern and were able to use up some left over alum. plate which was much thicker than the OMF's :D .

Here are some pics of my rings I made at the sheet metal shop I work at. I had one of the welders weld them on and then I just grinded and polished the welds.
