Is therea trick to pull ou the egine without disasembling it 1st? Every1 I talked to said that you have to take it apart 1st!

It's not too hard. Just remove the header, disconnect carb, oil pipes, couple wires, tubes, etc. Shouldn't take more than an hour I guess.

ed everything but the engine everything is disconnected etc. But I just cant get the motor out! How do I do thsi! I need help!

u just have to move it around in there... it comes out pretty easy...

Okay if you says it comes out easy as a whole motor Ill keep trying b/c me and my buddy been trying to get this out for the last 2 days! Thats why I signed on and asked I thought I was doing it wrong!!!

if you have all the breathing hoses and wires disconnected and all the supports and what not done, then pull it out the right side(the service manuel says the right side) of the frame, I just did it last week it was really easy, its heavy so it was a bugger to move around, but it just came right out.

I ordered a manula but it said it will be 7 more days until it gets here, but the ride side form looking form the back or the right side looking from the front? Is yours a 97 too?

This is a silly question but did you remove the engine skid? Did you remove all of the hanger bolts and the swingarm pivot bolt? It is pretty heavy like someone already said but it really doesn't have anything to stick to.

THANKS SO MUCH EVERYONE TOLD ME IT CAME OUT THE LEFT SO WHEN I TRIED THE RIGHT I HAD NO PROBLEMS SO THANKS NOW I CAN GET THE MOTOR FIXED AND MAYBE PAINT UP THE FRAME
