while i was cleaning and polishing my frame tonight, i found that i pretty much destroyed my airbox, the whole right side is cracked and chunks missing, how will a uni filter or k&n affect things i knoticed all the different intakes with the airbox so i am really not sure what to do, i really dont feel like buying another stock airbox. may as well upgrade if u know what i mean, any help would be great thanks

You could get an aluminum air box, or go with an air box eliminator kit if you don't ride in lots of water or mud or snow.

If you're gonna MX, don't even think about an air box eliminator. You can get nice stock ones off ebay for $50 and under. Just stick with that set up, there is no real advantage to aluminum boxes.

^^^ what he said!! do not eliminate your airbox if you are going to mx. i can see maybe if you were to race flat track or tt but do NOT elminate your airbox for anything else

it works fin for duning and stuff, and with a water proof outerwears puddles r a non issue. i would avoid hitting any boddy of watter at speed but i havent had any probs. no one wants a good deal on an eliminator bracket??
