getting past bess

Lets hear it for sure! i had a way around bess for about 3 weeks here at my school but then it was found out. I just used an online proxy server and it would let me on to anything. How do you get around it ?

I believe it is a security/filtering system.

I think it's a rather effiecient system too. The old college I went to used it and I never even tried to get around. Just not computer savvy enough I guess.

You are correct it is a Proxy server filtering system! Its dumb though because it blocks out stuff like car pics and other things and says there is nudity or pornography, when i have been there on my home comp and there is no such thing! :confused: So i try to find ways around it for the fun of it. I thought about finding another proxy to run through and changing it in the settings instead of using an online proxy but i havent had a class where i had time to do that yet.

ok ok heres the way go to www.gibeo.net make a username and pass then say u wanted to come here and get on the forums u put in www.atvriders.com.gibeo.net and u log in and bam u can view just about any site u want to...

i used to use proxify.com but now it wont let you without an account

My filtering system at work blocks not only pornography, but also blocks proxy and anonomizer sites.

at work i dug a cable right out of the wall comming straight from outside and ran a spliter to the modems and straight to a modem i have for only my computer now i can do whatever i want

LOL i remember when i was in high school and the school i was in used bess....everyone hated that stupid dog logo when it would pop up on the screen haha, i found a way to get by it but i forgot how i did it, bc it was a few yrs ago

when im at schol,i go to what the teacher tells us to,then i minimize it and open up another internet explorer and come here,then minimize when the teacher is coming and when she leaves,wah-la its back on...always worked for me

proxify.com worked last year for me...and I was the kid who showed it to kids at school to use...than some BRIGHT kid left his page open and the teacher saw, that ended all of the fun for us at school. I'll try this out tomorrow though:)

if your block wount let u use proxify then u have to put an s after the http thing EX: https://megaproxy.com thats what i use at school

nope im lost too but ill trya nd figure it out tommorrow but sometimes bess lets me come here and sometimes it wont i dont iunderstand it but our bess is horrible it block EVERYTHING you can only go on google yahoo and educational websites i want bess to die:mad:
