Spark Plugs

Hi all, I need a higher heating spark plug for the 2001 400EX. Mine doesn't seem to be heating hot enough, therefore, fouling the plug quite a bit. It gets real old. Any numbers on a plug that will fit the 400EX, yet heat more? If you can help, thanks in advance.

DPR7Z is hotter thats one heat range hotter

you thinkits jetted wrong causing it to foul?

Who makes that plug? I'll try and pick one up. Nah, I don't think it's the jetting because it's jetted to my altitude specs and all.. Could very well be though.. It just acts like it doesn't get enough heat to fire it the first time.

don't pump the throttle as many times when starting it. this is why your fouling the plug. i wouldn't run a hotter plug. this bike runs hot as is. NGK makes that plug.
