What is the latest year rangers have a solid axle? abnd which years are interchangable with the mazda b4000?

i know i was wondering the same thing. like everything he has posted has been about his truck. it doesnt bother me any b/c it is an open forum but you would get a better reponse if you went to like www.hotrodders.com or something like that.

They never made a solid front axle for the small ranger. The only "Ranger" with one of those was the full-size trucks in the late 70's. This should provide you with all the info you should ever need on rangers.

One of my friends has a ranger, it's a 91 or a 93 I can't remember, but it looked to have a solid front axel.

Ford abandoned solid front axles in 79. 80 was the first year of the Twin Traction Beam. Only one ton's had them. They look like solid axles, because of the design.

I'd look at the dimensions of older Toyota running gear front and rear. If you could somehow mate that running gear to the transfer case you'd be set. Those Yota axles are close to unbreakable.:devil:
