I have to do a debate tomorrow, and i know its short notice, but could you answer the poll, then tell me why? I need all the help i can get on this debate, and i think this would be a good addition.

I voted Not in favor of them because I simply would want to wear whatever I wanted to, not what a school would want me to.

Maybe not uniforms, but a dress code, you cant go around lookin like school. Kids these days dont understand how stupid they look when their pants are hanging down by their knees. And a shirt that is down to their ankles.

if they made you wear uniforms you could always steal a hollow metal pipe and leave it at the doorstep of the school

i agree 100% its not there to take your rights away its there so kids dont have to worry about the new fashion or who is wearing what and what you can affford. it make's it so SCHOOL is the important part of the day not what every one is wearing or has.

At my school we have a fairly strict dress code, because i go to a private school. I figured i could use another thing to blow my opponent out of the water.

I would not wear uniforms at all. I like the clothes that I wear, they are me, and express myself as a person. I hate being like everyone else. I am very self profound ( i think that was worded right)

I would not be a b*tch and complain about it. If everyone else has to wear it, who cares?

Im not saying I want it to happen, I really dont want it to happen. But if it did, I would just deal with it. It isnt a big deal.

And cmon, wouldt it be nice to have the "schoolgirl" look on all the females?!?!?

they made us wear khakis, slacks or such, and a solid color collared shirt...every day....it really sucked bc it was hard to find any blue jeans in my size, much less khakis (I was a 00 in high school)

i really didnt like the dress code, teachers were too busy dealing with it than teaching or doing anything else they had to do.....
