What advantage do you get if you remove the spark arrestor from an aftermarket exhaust?? All my friends remove them before they even get the pipe on the quad. And one kid around here has no end cap on at all. I dunt really understand it I know it prob gives you alittle more power and and all cuz of better airflow. But to me it seems like a great way for water to get down your pipe

honestly, i dont think taking the spark arrestor does that much. ya you will gain some power, but it sounds like crap.

That depends. Some exhausts have end caps with no spark arrestor for that little extra power. Alot of them can be changed to have one and not have one.

OHV parks and all public land around here require you to have it in. if you dont there is a fine and they will not let you ride.

If you dont have one on does it really backfire a shoot out fire that often, and also does it hurt anything??
