What is the best Chain and Sprockets for the EX

I need new chain and sprockets what is the combo that works the best and last the longest? And the best for the money

I just put a Sidewinder cromoly sprocket det on mine. Have used one before but I hear they are the best. Sprocket set retails for about $400 with a cromoly O ring chain.

Anyone else running a Sidewinder? I would like to know how you like it?

i am in no way saying it is the best,but if you don't have alot of money to spend then try rocky mountain....i bought the 400ex PRIMARY DRIVE kit,new front and rear sprockets and 520 O ring for 51 dollars...just a suggestion

Me too except I got the one with the x-ring chain and it is holding up great. The x-ring chain kit is only $57

i got sidewinders on my 300ex, i've had them on there for 3 years now and barely showing any wear, i'm a sidewinder user for life.

I have ran sidewinder before and never had any problems. infact it was the best chain/sprocket combo I had ever used. Never had any problems with braking one and the chain never stretched the whole time I had the quad(about a year)

i use renthal sprockets, and i bought a new chain that came off of a cannondale when they was out. i can count on one hand how many times ive adjusted my chain in the past year and still have a finger or two left over. and i keep a good check on the tension of the chain before every ride/race.
