Ok i just sent my motor off to get a JE 10.8:1 416 piston, hotcams stage two, hinson clutch basket, sparks 8 plate clutch, lighten flywheel, ported head and magnum rev box

I am just wanting to know what is the proper break in for this?thanks

Take it out somewhere. Run it low/mid through all the gears for about 15 minutes....let it set for about 15 minutes. Repeat this about 3 times. Bring it in, set the valves and change the oil....then ride it...

derk you think that is enough?45 mins on the engine and it should be good?i would at least think a tank of gas

Thats the way i've done it with all my motors. It's also what Sparks suggested to me when they built my motor....

If sparks says that then i guess that is normal,do you go and ride the chit out of it after the "breakin" is done or still take it easy on her for a bit,but still get the rev's up pretty high?

After i do what i already said. I will ride it for a couple hours still under 1/2 - 3/4 throttle. Then give it hell...
