Has anyone ever heard of a metal oil filter? How do these do? Will they get the job done? I guess thats the way to go if you dont want to replace it alot. Fill me in boys:cool:

randy i thought all oil filters were the mesh/metal type to begin with?

If your talking about the "scotts Re-usable stainless steel filter", then yes, we use them.
and we used to use a simular product on the sprint cars that we used to race.
They work real well, especially if you change your oil after every race.

I might have to buy me one of these. Does anyone know were to get one for a decent price?

Check out ebay, ive seen them go for fairly reasonable prices on there.
