atc250r rear axle carrier

how can u tell if my 85 atc250r still has the stock rear axle bearing carrier.

does it have round holes where you put the rod in to adjust the chain, the stock ones don't and the 85 250r and 350x used some strange type of chain adjustment tool, its kinda like a shock adjustment tool.
