How hard is it too put the raptor shock on a 300ex what has to be done? What do you have to remove and where do you mount the reserve? Do you just unbolt the stock shock and install the new one or do ya hace to take the swing arm off. Also are the the same leingth as the 300ex shock ? dose it make the bike set up higher? just a bunch of things I want to know before I consider doing this also!

it basically replaces the stocker and adds plenty of suspension to the rear....u just mount the rezzi to the frame

What all do you have to take off to install it and dose it make the bike sit any higher?

u take off your stock shock, it unbolts ya kno  then u put that shock on in its place and just find a place for the rezzy. and no it doesnt make it any higher

little more to it than that...the mounts on the shock are skinnier than the ones on the stock shock and some people put washers between the shock and the mount on the swing arm.. if u dont care bout that u dont have to do it but with out it theres a little play in the shock. also the line to the rezzy is really short and there arent to many options of where to mount it.

Do a quick search on it and there are many posts on it including mine, it will show several mounting positions for the rezzie. You can run a stock rappy spring for more stiffness and larger jumps or put on a 400 ex spring for a little smoother ride and lower stance. I loved mine.
