Well I just got my new front Holeshot HDs on ITP T9 Baja's. When they came only one had air and I figured that they just forgot to pump it up. I pumped it up and half and hour later it was flat. Think that it isn't seated in the bead right? Should I overinflate in and then ride it to see if it pops into where it should be? (<- there is no visual evidence that it isn't in right, though)

fill it up with air and squirt a soapy water solution all over it. It will bubble where the air is leaking out. Check the entire surface of the tire, the valve stem, and the center of the rim. First find out where the air is leaking from before you jump to any conclusions.

Its not your tire its the rim. i had a problem just like this. the rims are made of two peices of aluminum that meet in the middle. then are welded together if they mis the slightest bit it will leak spray the rims weld area and see if you find any leaks there,

Is it seated? If not air it up until it seats. If it is try breaking the bead, smearing some oil or soap on the bead and reset it. If that doesn't work you may need some tire glue to glue the bead to the rim.

I would say your bead is bad on the rim.

I really don't feel like glueing my 6-ply tires to the rims cause that totally defeats the 6-ply purpose.

6 ply is for puncture resistance, the glue is to help hold and seal a tire's bead to the wheel. Different purposes all together. Its not like you have to do it but it is cheaper than shipping them back to the distributor. Anyway its just a suggestion and any tire shop would probably do it for free or next to nothing.

not really actually i had the same problem with rockymountain. my douglas' had a leak in them i had to send the whole tire and rim back and i got a new one for free. They even paid for shipping both ways. Rockymountain are good people to deal with.

I was just saying why would I want 6-ply protection if the tire doesn't even stay on the rim.

I just recieved my UPS shipping tag payed for both ways by rockymountain.
