2nd guessing the 400ex??

Should i stay and go get the 05 400ex or get an 05 450r,im 14 and gonna be riding trails,dirt,and some roads(just to get to the trails)and im not sure if i should spend the extra 1500$ and get the 450r or just stay with the 400ex

Get the 450R, I am not that impressed with the 400ex personally. I prefer a Z400, they are much faster, but they sit to high. Im my opinion, the 450R is the hest quad on the market.

i dont think you need the 450R if your not going to be racing much. i think the EX is perfect for what your ridin.

i am 14 to and i had to make the same choose and i whent with the 05 400ex and i am vary happy with it!

you don't need the r, im 17 and i got a 300ex and its very fun, you can have an r but you won't use all that it has, and it won't even be worth it, im not saying what to get but the way i ride my 300 i use it to what its got, if you get a 450r, your not ganna know what to do with that, i've ridden a predator and a 450r, they are very fast but, like a lot of people your not going to use all that so therefore you don't need it

get on the 400 and in a couple years you'll figure out how to use all the power when your riding, and you won't just be 1/4 way on the throttle and afraid to use it

i hope you know what im sayin

if you get a 450r, you won't use all the power, if you get a 400 you will use it and figure out how to use it threw time and be a better rider, then you can upstep to bigger ones

im almost 18 and i got a 300ex. ive had it since i was about 12 and im ready for an upgrade. i dunno about you guys but i would rather have some power and not use it then not have enough power to use.
im deciding between a 250r or an lt500:D

dood buy the 400, your 14 years old, by the time your accually able to use the 450r to its full potential, there will be a new bike out there to buy...
