OKay when i first got my EX it kept pourin gas out of the overflows after a minute or two of riding. So i cleaned carb out and put new float valve, needle valve whatever you want to call it and its doing the same thing. Anyone got an answer?

I had the same problem.. Take out your air/fuel screw make sure the O-ring on the bottom of the screw is lubed up and put it back in.. Mine was dry and wasnt seating right.. Fixed my problem took me a week and 6 cleanings to figure it out!

hmm know what else you might wanna try i did it also. Clean out your gas tank and petcock.. Mine was filthy and kept dirtying up the carb.. Also when you take the carb apart check to see if theres gas in the float itself.. The way I checked to see if my float was fine was i put some gas in a container, take the float off the carb and put it in the gas to see if it floats.. If it floats its good if not you need a new float!

Check the Needle, check if the seal is grooved if it is you need to replace your needle and seat if its just clogged with dirt give it a good clean,,, youll have to tap the pin out of the float with a punch or center tap, hit on the side thats sticking out the most....
