I just had the carb apart, could figure out how to get at needle clip, please help? I did change my main and pilot.

You basically really have to get into your carb. From the top looking down onto your carb you will see a brassy colored plate with three screws. Remove these screws and you will be looking into the throttle body. You will see that the throttle body arm is connected to a cup shaped object called the "slide". Down in the bottom of this slide is the spring clamp that connects the arm to the slide. Remove this clamp and the two screws below it that attach it to the throttle body arm. You will then see the needle and the clip that holds it in. That's where it is!

Now, just because you may be able to see it, that does not necessarily mean you can reach it. :p

to get it out, you have to pull out(not all the way) the pivot pin that the arm swings on. then you can pull the arm and needle out.
