Just thought I'd see if anyone has a pic of a red 400ex with a red frame. Thought I'd try it for a while. Any thoughts?

Thanks Blackguy - looks very nice! Now I've just got to find a place with 400 plastic in stock. I would trade someone for their red plastic but haven't had any takers yet. I keep pulling blanks. Got any leads?

A friend of mine has one...its just like my quad in the motor, right down to the jetting. He has red plastic, a red frame, chrome +3 a-arms, chrome +4 swinger, chrome RPM axle, chrome oil tank, and chrome side covers, I think he may have gotten his bars chromed too. It looks really good...

chef, get some pics of that bike. sounds really nice.

I have a gloss black frame with red plastic. It looks hella good. I will eventually have red a arms with chrome uppers and a red swingarm also. Then it will be finished and will look really nice.

Hey Alky, do you think the pingry oil tank would look better polished or powdercoated red with sparkles on mine???

No, the chrome doesnt get chipped up in the sand. It will get pitted after a few years, but not if you keep it up. I think your tank would look best the same as your frame. If you could make it just continue from the frame to the tank it would be cool...

You think it would look better black then red??? i was thinking since the frame was black then the tank should be red??? You can see in my sig what is painted what color,,,what color should i have the tank done???

Yea, I think it would look sweet if it was mirror black with huge ***** chrome pieces in it. It would kinda look like it was chrome, then painted, and the paint was comin off to chrome...and that would be sweet.
