Well I installed my belly skid today. (AC Racing) It bolted up great but it is noisy as hell, espeically when I already have a full system HMF. How do you guys make them not rattle. Everything is tight, but it is annoying as hell. I was thinking of taking it off and ziptie rubber to the the bottom of the frame. Any suggestions?

put a a few pieces of rubber stripping down along the frames to help cut out the vibration

Schulte_85 goto the hardware store and get some window insulation foam tape. It comes in different widths and is sticky on one side. Tape it to the skid where it meets the frame it should take care of the rattle.:D

You might be able to find like some big o-rings, and put them between the skid and frame, and run the bolts up through them. Don't know if it'd work, or if you could find o-rings that size, but its worth a shot.

If you go with the window insulation, you might want to drill a couple extra holes in the skid plate for drainage. I used the foam strips for sound insulation and it pretty much sealed the skid to my frame. Couple extra holes for water drainage and you're all set. Ready for the start of HS season?:)
