Okay, this is off-topic, but figured you 2 stroke guys might be able to help me out. I have an '83 ATC250R, and last week it ran when I bought it. I tried starting it a couple days later, and it would start and die after a few seconds. I thought, well it must be not getting fuel, so I cleaned the carb and replaced parts from a kit (tank shows signs of residue, so figured this was good place to start). Put it back together, same results. What suggestions do you experts have to offer? Where do I start? I realize I probably have a bunch of steps to take to figure this out, but your direction would be appreciated.
