I wouldnt get the stage 2, go all out and get the stage 3 0r 4. I have a stage 3 and regret not getting the stage 4.:ermm:

where do you get the stage 4 from? and how much are they

too big of a cam and you'll lose all of the 300ex low end torque.this is what makes the 300ex what it is..sure you'll gain some top but then you''ll be eatin up your rocker arms,even if you get them hardened,you''l lose some service life.get a mild cam and be done wit' it:eek2:

And 2muchquad you don't know much about engines do you? With the stage 4 you will not lose any power anywhere. Where did you come up with lost service life???? Hardened rockers are nothin but stock rockers with material welded on to the contact surface.:rolleyes:

I will have to say I have a stage 3 & 4 WEB cams for my 300 & LOVE THEM!! Haven't installed the stage 4 yet but when we did the 3 WOW what a difference it made!

"lil 300ex,"i have forgotten more about engines than you'll ever know.oh a cam that has it all for the 300ex.theres almost always a compromise when it comes to engine tuning.do your homework lil'man i was building 750 dragsters and 2 cycle kart motors back in the 80s,you might not have been born yet.. have a nice day.:rolleyes:
